This product is not an airplane model but a set of finely cast resin exhaust pipes in 1:48 scale. It replaces the plastic parts from the box and gives a Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 model a realistic look, with hollowed outlets.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 was one of the most widespread fighters of the Luftwaffe in the Second World War. The row of exhaust stubs along the sides of the DB 605 engine is among its typical features.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash off the release agent and glue them with super glue. The exhausts come out well once they are painted in burnt metal and rust shades, brought out with a dark wash and a dry brush.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
