This set from Eduard contains two ejection seats made by direct 3D printing in resin, together with photo-etched parts and decals with warning stencils. The seats replace simpler plastic parts and markedly raise the fidelity of the cockpits of this two-seat machine. It is a detailing set for more experienced modelers, not a model in its own right.
The Blackburn Buccaneer was a British carrier-based and land-based strike aircraft capable of low-level penetration at high speed. The S.2C and S.2D versions served with the Royal Navy and later with the Royal Air Force. The crew consisted of a pilot and a navigator seated one behind the other.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The seats come out well with shading and a dry brush, and the stencil decals are applied only onto a finished base. Bend the photo-etched elements according to the instructions before fitting them, and protect your airways when sanding.
A detailing set, not a model in its own right. The paints, the glue and accessories are not included in the package.
