A plastic kit of the Airbus A321-200 airliner in the colors of the German airline Condor. It comes out as a model set, which with Revell is a starter package: besides the sprues with the parts and the decals, basic paints, a brush and glue tend to be enclosed. The package therefore often travels as a gift for a beginning modeler.
The A321 is the longest member of the Airbus A320 family. Compared with the basic version it has a lengthened fuselage, higher cabin capacity and modified high-lift devices on the wing, so that it keeps usable takeoff and landing characteristics. The A321-200 rendition added range thanks to a higher takeoff weight and additional tanks. Condor is a German carrier focused on holiday destinations and machines of the A320 series form the backbone of its short and medium routes.
With airliners in 1:144 the cleanness of the surface decides. Fill and sand the joints of the fuselage, otherwise they will stand out under a gloss coat. The decals of a civil scheme hold best on a smooth gloss base and in intricate places a softener helps. Separate the transitions of colors and the windows with masking tape, so that the edges are sharp.
The parts wait on the sprues unglued and without paint; the finished aircraft arises only after assembly and spraying.
