The Eduard 1:48 Blenheim Mk.IF masking set holds self-adhesive die-cut templates for the glazing and the wheels. They give you a sharp transition between the cockpit frames and the glass without the drudgery of applying tape.

This is not a kit but a set of self-adhesive masks cut exactly to the shape of the glazing of a model of the Blenheim Mk.IF fighter version in 1:48 scale. The masks are cut into thin masking film on a carrier sheet, so it is enough to lift them off with tweezers and stick them onto the part. The Blenheim has extensive glazing on the nose and the cockpit with a great many small panes, and it is precisely there that ready-made masks save the most time.
The material follows the gentle curvature of a part and sits down even in the corners, where ordinary flat tape ripples and paint runs underneath it. Besides the glazing, the set usually also holds discs for masking the tires, so the hub can be sprayed without going around it by hand. After spraying, the film peels off and leaves a sharp edge with no fraying.
Degrease the part before masking and let it dry completely. Lift the mask from the sheet with sharp tweezers or the point of a scalpel, lay it on and press it down with a wooden toothpick so that it does not get scratched. Spray the interior cockpit color first, then the base shade of the airframe. Apply the paint in several thin coats, as a heavy coat will build a step at the edge. Remove the masks while the paint has only just dried, and do it with an oblique pull rather than straight up.
This is an accessory, not a model of the aircraft. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
