An instrument panel set from the LooK line for a model of the Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress bomber in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress was an American four-engined heavy bomber used in the Second World War. On a 1:48 model the cockpit of the pilot and the co-pilot is clearly visible through the glazing, and the front instrument panel is what dominates the view: it carries a row of round instruments that a plastic part from the kit renders only in simplified form.
An instrument panel set for a 1:48 model of the B-17F. The word LooK in the name is the designation of the product line, not a description of the contents of the package. How many parts the set holds and what it may add to the panel is given in the enclosed manufacturer's instructions.
Level the base the panel goes onto and clear it of dust and grease so that it sits down over its whole area. Work at the point when the flight deck is finished and painted but the fuselage is still open. The way it is fixed, and whether glue is needed, is described in the manufacturer's instructions; read them before you pick the panel up, because the procedure differs from line to line and a badly seated panel cannot be taken out of the cockpit without damage.
The set suits a modeler building the B-17F in 1:48 scale who wants the flight deck taken all the way where it is most visible. Check in the enclosed instructions which 1:48 kit the set is developed for; the size of the panel is tied to a particular model. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
