This set of colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio faithfully upgrades the interior of the American heavy bomber. The details are printed on a thin flexible film on decal backing paper, they have real depth and color and they are applied by the wet method, with no photo-etching and no assembly.
The Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress was the most numerous variant of the famous four-engine bomber of the US Army Air Forces in the Second World War. It stood out for its heavy defensive armament, including the chin turret. The roomy interior makes the cockpit detail a striking feature of the model.
Cut the part out of the sheet, dip it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on a gloss varnish of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 kind; on broken surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. The set comes into its own wherever the interior is visible through the glazed areas.
This is an aftermarket accessory (a 3D decal), not a kit. The model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
