A set of underwing and underfuselage armament for a model of the Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet in 1:48 scale. It fills out the stores under the wings and the fuselage with ready-made parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
On a model of a combat aircraft the carried armament is just as visible as the fuselage and decides a great deal about the final impression. A set of its own makes it possible to put together a particular arrangement of stores under the wings and the fuselage and to fill even the pylons that would otherwise stay empty. This item is intended for the Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet in 1:48 scale and belongs to the Big Sin line.
Before you reach for the glue, try the parts dry and check how they seat on the pylons. Watch the symmetry of the two halves of the wing and that the stores point parallel to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft; a weapon seated crooked is visible on a finished model from every angle. Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little from the part and carefully sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, so that the paint holds on them. The suitable glue and the particular preparation procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The armament tends to be treated differently from the aircraft itself, so it pays to paint it separately and to seat it on the model only when finished. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that the edges and the fine surface detail do not disappear; the pylons are then hard to reach with a brush.
The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
