This is a set of painting masks, not a kit. The masks are precisely cut and adapted to a particular plastic model of the American Brewster Buffalo fighter in 1:48 scale. They are stuck onto the glazing and onto other areas, which creates sharp, clean boundaries with no paint bleeding while spraying.

The real subject

The Brewster F2A Buffalo was an American single-seat fighter of the late 1930s, one of the first carrier-based monoplanes of the US Navy. A number of other countries used it in service as well, and the Finnish Air Force in particular achieved remarkable successes with it.

Use

• Lift the masks off carefully and apply them to the frames of the glazing or to the areas to be sprayed
• Press the edges down well so that no paint runs underneath them
• Spray in thin coats and lift the masks off while the paint is still fresh

For modelers who want sharp framing of the cockpit and clean markings without lengthy unmasking with tape by hand.

The masks are intended for the corresponding plastic model in 1:48 scale. The model itself is not included in the package.
