Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of the characteristic porcupine-type exhausts for a model of the British Bristol Beaufighter in 1:48 scale. These dense bunches of short exhaust stubs on the radial engines gave the subject its typical look. The set replaces the parts from the base kit with more faithful resin castings. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine heavy fighter and attack aircraft of the Second World War, powered by Bristol Hercules radial engines. It found its use as a night fighter, a torpedo bomber and an attack machine. The nickname porcupine points to the prominent bunch of exhaust stubs sticking out of the engine nacelles.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. The exhausts come into their own once they are painted in a dark metallic and rusty shade with the individual stubs picked out. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
