A 3D interior decal from Quinta Studio 1:48 for the Bristol Beaufighter TF.Mk.X combines colored 3D cockpit decals on a decal paper carrier with additional 3D-printed resin parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Quinta Studio refines the pilot's compartment of a heavy British multirole machine. The basis is colored 3D decals printed on a decal paper carrier, which have real depth as well as color and are applied by the wet method. The box moreover holds additional 3D-printed resin parts for more three-dimensional details of the interior.
The Bristol Beaufighter TF.Mk.X was a powerful twin-engine torpedo and strike aircraft of the Royal Air Force, deployed above all against shipping. It was marked by heavy armament and good range. Its roomy cockpit makes a detailed interior a rewarding element of a model.
The part is cut from the sheet, soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the carrier paper into place. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on gloss varnish of the Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22 type; on intricate surfaces a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. Rid the resin parts enclosed of the remains of uncured printing resin and bond them with super glue.
This is an aftermarket accessory (a 3D decal with resin parts), not a kit. The model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
