A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Hauler with fine brass parts for a plastic model of the British Humber Armoured Car Mk.IV in 1:48 scale. It is not a model in its own right but an aftermarket accessory that adds or replaces small sheet-metal items. The contents follow the instructions supplied. The set is cut for the Tamiya kit.
The Humber Armoured Car was one of the most widespread British armored cars of the Second World War. The Mk.IV version carried a 37 mm gun and was put to use in North Africa, Italy and Western Europe, among other places, for reconnaissance and escort work.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret and make the bends with a photo-etch bender. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy. Degrease the brass before painting and apply a primer.
The set does not contain the model itself. It calls for the matching plastic kit and assembly materials, which are not included in the package.
