The set contains cast resin figures of Royal Air Force personnel of the Second World War period: an airman in an overall and a mechanic. It is not an aircraft kit but an add-on figure set in 1:48 scale intended to bring aviation dioramas and display cases to life. The parts are cast with fine rendering of the uniforms, the folds and the gear.
British fighter and bomber airmen and their ground crew belong among the typical figures of scenes from 1939 to 1945. The overall, the life vest, the flying helmet and a mechanic's equipment complete the atmosphere of a field airfield and give an aircraft model both a sense of scale and a human dimension.
Wash the resin parts first in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue is removed. Cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean up the surfaces with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Acrylic paints for figures are suitable for painting, and the rendering of the faces and the folds is brought out with glazes and a dry brush.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
