The Chipmunk T.20 in the TFace rendition, 1:48 scale takes care of the canopy frames from the outside as well as from the inner side.
Responsibility details are not available.
The TFace rendition covers the canopy frames not only from the outside but on the inner side as well. On a trainer with a clearly visible crew station that is a difference you notice on the finished model. Eduard offers this variant alongside the ordinary rendition.
The Chipmunk is a two-seat training monoplane of Canadian origin which first flew in 1946. The T.20 version was among the military export renditions. The machine made its name with calm flying qualities and with forgiving errors by beginner pilots, so whole generations went through training on it. A number of examples passed into private hands after withdrawal and fly to this day. Besides training proper, the machines were also used for liaison flights and for towing.
The inner side of the glazing is painted first and only then is the canopy seated into the fuselage. Super glue fogs the surface near clear parts, so reach instead for a glue intended for glazing. Wipe your fingers before spraying so that no greasy print is left on the transparency. Choose the interior shade according to the aircraft's user, because it differed from one country to another. Before you fit the canopy, check once more whether dust has got onto the inner side.
Neither the model itself nor the paints are supplied with the masks.
