It is not a model of an airplane but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic belts in the cockpit. Steel is springier than brass, so the belts hold a bend and can be draped naturally over the seat. The colors and the stitching are printed at the factory.
For modelers who want to refine the cockpit and replace the coarse plastic belts with faithful, pre-painted detail. Steel belts look realistic and there is no need to paint them.
