Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive die-cut masks from Eduard in 1:48 scale, meant for spraying the framing of the cockpit glazing and the other transparent areas of the German twin-engine Do 17Z-2 light bomber accurately. It is not a kit or an aircraft model but an accessory to a kit you already have. The masks are stuck onto the clear parts and the wheel rims, the areas are sprayed over and, once the masks are taken off, sharply outlined frames remain, with no going over them by hand with a brush.
The Dornier Do 17 earned the nickname the Flying Pencil for its slender fuselage. The Z-2 version was the final bomber form, with a fully glazed, enlarged front to the cockpit; the machine played a prominent part during the Battle of Britain. The large glazed area makes masking the frames a substantial part of the build.
For modelers who want their cockpit frames sprayed sharp and straight, without ragged edges and paint running over from a brush. It saves a great deal of time and frustration, above all on heavily framed glazing. Basic experience with an airbrush is useful.
An accessory for masking during spraying, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
