A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale devoted to the twin-engined Dornier Do 215 in the B-1, B-2, B-4 and B-5 forms. The package contains the sheet of markings alone, that is an accessory for marking a model that is already built and painted.
The Do 215 was a twin-engined machine derived from the Do 17 line, originally intended for export. It was built in several forms of the B series, which differed in equipment and in role: besides bomber use, the machines also found a place in long-range reconnaissance, and a later version was adapted for night fighting. The external marks of the series are the slim fuselage and the glazed nose.
Twin-engined bombers in 1:48 scale carry large-area decals, which behave differently from small markings. A large piece of membrane is heavy to carry and folds over on itself easily, so slide it from the paper straight onto the model across its whole area, ideally with the help of a damp brush. Squeeze the excess water out from the center toward the edges with a soft cloth or a cotton swab, otherwise a bubble will be left under the decal. Before the area is sealed with varnish, let it dry properly for at least overnight.
This is a standalone decal sheet. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
