Metal exhausts for the Dornier Do 215B in 1:48 scale are an upgrade set from Rexx. It is not a model but electroformed metal exhaust manifolds that replace the plastic parts from the kit of this twin-engine aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains metal exhaust manifolds for the German twin-engine Dornier Do 215B aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a model kit but a detail accessory replacing the plastic exhausts in the base kit. The maker is Rexx, which produces the manifolds by electroforming, thanks to which they have thin walls and a faithful surface.
The Dornier Do 215 was the export development of the Do 17, a twin-engine aircraft with a characteristic slender fuselage. The Do 215B version served above all for long-range reconnaissance and as a light bomber. It was powered by inverted V12 engines whose exhaust manifolds ran along the sides of the engine nacelles.
Cut the metal parts off the gates and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Metal takes paint and dark heat-staining shades well, so degreasing and a finish with pigments are recommended. Check compatibility with your particular kit beforehand.
It is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
