This is a photo-etched detail set, not a standalone aircraft model. It serves to improve a plastic kit of the German Dornier Do-217J-1 night fighter in 1:48 scale. The set combines pre-painted steel parts with fine brass photo-etch and adds elements that do not fit into injection-molded plastic.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and form them with a photo-etch bending tool. Move the pre-painted self-adhesive elements with tweezers and bond the brass parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with two-part epoxy. Degrease the surfaces before gluing.
It is not a standalone model or a complete kit; it is an accessory. The base plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
