A resin aftermarket set of exhaust stubs for the twin-engined Do 217N-1 night fighter. It is not a model but a replacement detail: the resin castings have hollow, cleanly shaped openings and a fine surface that the plastic parts from the base kit usually cannot capture.
The exhausts are among the visually exposed places on the engine. Hollow stubs raise the realism considerably and make a rewarding base for sooty and burnt shades during weathering.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding resin. Darken the openings with a combination of metallic and burnt shades and pick them out with pigments.
This is a detail accessory, not an airplane model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
