The set 1:48 Douglas A-4C Skyhawk TFace from Eduard masks the glazing of a model from both sides.
Responsibility details are not available.
The TFace form means that the set remembers the inner side of the glazing too. The frame thereby gets the shade of the interior and does not come across as empty when looking into the cabin. The model of the aircraft is sold separately; this is an accessory for a build.
The C version was recognized by the lengthened nose with a radar, which opened the type up to entry outside good visibility as well. The design stayed true to the original idea of a light and simple attack machine, so the aircraft kept its agility and low weight. The cabin is fairly well exposed on a model too, and the frames are very conspicuous on it. A sharp edge of a frame therefore decides whether a finished build comes across as convincing.
First mask and spray the inner sides, then seat the parts and turn to the fuselage. The outer shapes come last, once the base paint has dried. If you work with gloss varnish under decals, leave the glazing covered during that too, otherwise the gloss is applied even where it should not be. Finally look the finished model over against the light and even any traces out. Wipe any mark along an edge off with a dampened cotton swab; solvents do not belong on clear parts.
