Eduard 1:48 Douglas A-4M Skyhawk mod. 1975 is a photo-etched detail set matching the later form of this attack aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
You are not buying an aircraft but a set of photo-etched details for a model you already have. Eduard offers it in 1:48 scale and the name carries the mod. 1975 designation. That figure says which period the set relates to, and it is at the same time the only difference from the neighboring set of the same pair.
The Skyhawk was created in the 1950s as a deliberately small and light carrier attack machine that managed without folding wings. The A-4M version represented the culmination of the whole family, with a more powerful engine and markedly reworked equipment. With a type that served so long it pays to keep an eye on which year the real subject comes from, because the details shifted over time.
It is for a modeler who builds a particular machine from documentation and wants the accessories to match the period of the real subject. If you are dealing with the earlier form of the Skyhawk, the manufacturer also makes a variant with the year 1970. Both sets are made separately and they do not substitute for each other. Sets of this extent can moreover be used in parts, so one fret will yield material for several projects.
