The SBD-2 Dauntless was an early production carrier dive bomber of the US Navy. The Dauntless type became famous above all in the first years of the war in the Pacific, where it played a key role in attacks on Japanese ships. The SBD-2 version is one of the initial standards with the corresponding equipment.
