A set of empty cartridge cases for the 4.7 cm Pak 36 (t) antitank gun in 1:48 scale. An accessory for firing positions and a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
The gun designated 4.7 cm Pak 36 (t) was an antitank gun of Czechoslovak origin. The suffix (t) in German nomenclature marked equipment taken over from Czechoslovakia; the German army used these guns in the field form as well as built into tank destroyers. The spent cases left behind by them lay scattered around a firing position and belong to a scene just as much as the weapon itself.
An accessory set of empty cartridge cases in 1:48 scale. You will find the exact number of pieces on the box of the set with part number 49A030/48. The manufacturer also makes the same accessory in 1:35 and 1:72 scale; a set of complete rounds for the same gun is made under part number 49A029/48.
Empty cases are scattered by the carriage, lined up in a box or in a case basket, laid in the ammunition compartment of a vehicle or in the corner of a trench. They work as a trace of time: the more of them there are, the longer the scene has lasted. Restraint pays off, though, because a heap of cases by a single gun looks improbable.
Try seating the parts dry first. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest back. Before painting, wash and degrease the surface and let it dry. A metallic shade looks more faithful when it is gone over with a brown glaze and the edges are brought out with a dry brush, so that the surface does not stay flatly glossy; choose the shade according to the form you are building. Paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
