American M1 helmet (1:72) — a Firma49 resin accessory

A detailed resin rendering of the American M1 steel helmet in 1:72 scale, made by SLA 3D printing by the Czech maker Firma49. It is not a standalone kit but an accessory for figures and military dioramas. The M1 helmet became an iconic part of the equipment of the American army from the Second World War into later conflicts.

Use

The surface of the parts is fine and stands out on a finished figure. Before gluing, wash the print resin residue off the pieces, separate them carefully from the print supports and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding with respiratory protection. The helmet can be painted in olive green and completed with a net or a camouflage cover to suit the particular unit.
