This resin detail set holds the complete cockpit of the F-100C Super Sabre in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a kit that replaces the simplified plastic interior with a faithful tub, an instrument panel, side consoles and a seat.
The F-100 Super Sabre is an American fighter and the first production type from its maker able to exceed the speed of sound in level flight. The C version was one of the early production forms. The cockpit is among the most closely watched parts of a finished scale model thanks to how visible it is under the glazing.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The instrument panel and the consoles come into their own once painted, with the controls picked out gently.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for a kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
