This resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Aires refines the cockpit of a model of the North American F-100C Super Sabre in its early form, in 1:48 scale. The F-100C is the single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber version, so the set covers one seat, the instrument panel and the side consoles. It is an accessory for a kit, not an airplane model in its own right.
The North American F-100 Super Sabre was the first American production fighter able to reach supersonic speed in level flight, and it belonged to the Century Series. The single-seat F-100C variant brought, among other things, the ability to refuel in flight and to carry stores under the wing. The early form of the cockpit differs from the later versions and from the two-seat F-100F.
Before gluing, wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the interior before the fuselage is closed. Sand resin with your airways protected.
This is a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
