Eduard 1:48 F-104A/C airbrakes PRINT is a 3D-printed resin set of airbrakes for models of the F-104A/C Starfighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This 3D-printed resin accessory from the Czech manufacturer Eduard replaces the airbrakes on a model of the supersonic F-104A/C Starfighter fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a detail set for a more faithful rendering of the fuselage.
The set lets you show the airbrake panels in the extended position with faithfully rendered internal structure and wells, a detail typical of parked machines. Direct 3D printing gives sharp edges and fine elements that a plastic kit usually cannot match. The parts replace the corresponding areas of the model.
Wash the print residue off the resin parts, separate them from the supports and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Fitting them may call for adjusting the surrounding plastic, so do a dry fit first. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Spray the inside of the wells and bring it out with a wash.
The set does not contain the airplane model, paints or glue. It serves as an accessory for a plastic kit.
