A window is the largest continuous area in a view of a facade, so it decides whether a building comes across as a model or as a piece of a real complex.

What the accessory solves

Industrial glazing has a dense grid of small panes, which in 1:35 scale is laborious to make honestly and even more laborious to repeat on dozens of windows of one building. A printed subject keeps the grid consistent across the whole facade. The designation No.2 tells this item apart from the other numbered versions of the same sub-range, which offer a different execution.

Tips for placing it in the scene

• Measure the openings first and lay the subject out so that the grid joins up between neighboring windows.

• Give the frame and the reveal patina right at the end, so that the dirt gathers naturally into the corners.
