The real subject

The Convair F-106 Delta Dart was an American single-engine supersonic interceptor with a delta wing. It served as the main interceptor of the air defense of the United States in the Cold War era, and its main armament consisted of air-to-air missiles carried in an internal weapons bay. It stayed in service for many years and was among the icons of American air defense.

Tips for working with resin

First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw and sand the cut surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond the small antennas with super glue (cyanoacrylate) at the end of the build so that they do not break off. Test the fit dry before painting.
