A double-sided set of stencils for the cockpit of the 1:48 F-106A Delta Dart, cut to the parts of the Trumpeter kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set for the clear parts of the F-106A that deals with the framing from both sides. The shapes are based on the glazing of the Trumpeter kit, not on the Revell parts; the two forms resemble each other closely, so it is worth comparing them beforehand.
The squadrons armed with this type kept continuous alert in shelters by the runway and took off on warning within a few minutes. The crews measured themselves every year in gunnery meets and the machine earned a reputation among them as an exceptionally pleasant aircraft. At the beginning of the 1970s part of the airframes went through a modification after which they received a cannon and a new canopy with a better view and no central brace. The shape of the glazing is precisely what tells you which phase of the service a model captures.
Builders who want the cockpit taken to the last detail and are not afraid to work on the clear part in several stages. The double-sided solution tells above all on large clear areas, where a frame painted from one side only looks flat and shows through. The set also suits a collection of air defense machines, where the same level of finish is desirable.
