The set brings pre-printed colored photo-etched parts for both cockpits of the two-seat canopy, above all instrument and side panels, plus further details of the crew compartment. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory; the base kit has to be bought separately.
The Grumman F-14A Tomcat was an American two-seat carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing, operated from the aircraft carriers of the US Navy. It became famous for its powerful radar and long-range missiles and grew into an icon of Cold War aviation. The busy two-seat cockpit offers plenty of surfaces where photo-etched detail stands out.
Nip the parts out and bend them precisely on a hard surface. Colored photo-etched parts are bonded with a drop of super glue and are not repainted, only fixed with matte varnish as needed. We recommend finishing the interior before the fuselage is closed, so that it stays easy to reach.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
