It is not a model of an aircraft, but an accessory for completing a larger kit: a set of late type landing gear wheels for the F-14A Tomcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. The package contains resin wheels and a masking film for painting the tires and the rims. Always check compatibility with your base model.
Plastic wheels tend to be split and to carry mold marks. Resin castings are one piece, with a faithful tire tread and fine rims, and the late type variant matches the later F-14A Tomcat machines. The mask supplied makes it easier to separate the tire from the rim cleanly while spraying.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels and cut off the casting blocks with a saw. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The tires can be sanded down slightly at the bottom for a weighted effect. Paint the rims, cover them with the mask and spray the tire. Protect your breathing when sanding resin.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
