F-15E Strike Eagle: a color printed interior in 1:48 for both cockpits of the two-seat strike aircraft. The set is cut for the Hasegawa kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The richly equipped station of the weapon systems officer is among the most laborious things to paint on a model of this type. Layered printed elements on backing paper bring the panels, side consoles, screens and harnesses in finished color for the front and the rear cockpit alike. The set is cut for the Hasegawa kit, because versions for the parts of other brands are made as well.
The strike version of the famous air superiority fighter came about in the middle of the 1980s as a machine able to hit ground targets in any weather, by day and by night. The rear seat was taken by a second crew member with his own set of screens and controls, conformal tanks were added along the sides of the fuselage and under them racks for bomb armament and for sensor pods. For all the added weight, the aircraft kept its air combat capability.
Finish the interior before closing the fuselage. Degrease the surfaces, paint them with a dark base and carry the elements with moistened tweezers; a tiny drop of glue secures them in place. Fit the glazing at the very end and protect it with masking tape.
The aircraft itself is not part of the delivery, because this is an improvement to its interior.
