The resin detail set F-15I Raam cockpit in 1:48 scale from the Aires company. This is not an airplane model but a set for experienced modelers that replaces the cockpit from the base kit with a faithfully detailed resin cockpit tub with an instrument panel, side consoles and ejection seats for a crew of two. The package is as a rule complemented by photo-etched parts with the belts and fine elements.
The F-15I Raam is a two-seat twin-engine multirole version of the F-15 derived from the F-15E Strike Eagle and adapted for the needs of the Israeli Air Force. The cockpit for the crew of pilot and weapons systems officer differs from the single-seat F-15 versions and is richly equipped for strike tasks.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer, spray the paints with an airbrush in thin coats and pick out the instruments and the displays with a wash, a dry brush and decals according to the instructions. Before the fuselage is closed, check the fit with the particular kit.
