This set from Quinta Studio is used to work up the cockpit of a model of the two-seat F-16D block 30 aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit and not plastic parts: the interior elements are printed in relief, come already painted and are carried on decal paper, as the name says. Under the large bubble canopy of the F-16 the interior is exceptionally easy to see, so careful work pays off. The name designates the set as the Small version, that is the smaller variant of the brand's range.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole combat aircraft that became one of the most widespread types of its generation. The two-seat F-16D carries a second crew member behind the pilot under a lengthened canopy and is used for training as well as combat duties. The block 30 designation places the aircraft in the generation of the second half of the 1980s. Characteristic is the hinged part of the canopy without a transverse frame, thanks to which the whole cockpit can be seen into.
