An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat F-16 multirole fighter in the Block 40 and 50 versions, in 1:48 scale from Kinetic. The set makes it possible to build the two-seat variant (D) and contains decals for several markings. The model is built by gluing plastic parts and is meant to be painted.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter. The two-seat versions serve for training as well as for full combat duties. Blocks 40 and 50 brought more powerful engines, improved avionics and the ability to carry a wide range of guided munitions. The type is in wide international service.
Dry-fit the parts before gluing and use thin cement for plastic. Paint the cockpit with its two seats before joining the fuselage. For even shades of gray, an airbrush and a primer suit well. Apply the decals over a gloss coat and unify the surface with a matte or semi-gloss varnish as needed.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
