The most complete set of self-adhesive kabuki masks in 1:48 scale for a model of the Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor stealth fighter. The EXPERT level of the New Ware range includes the outer and inner faces of the glazing, color masks for the frames and seals, wheel masks and, in addition, masks for spraying the national insignia and other markings instead of using decals. It is not a kit or decals but the ultimate masking aid for a precise build.

The real subject

The F-22A Raptor is an American fifth-generation fighter designed with the emphasis on low observability (stealth), high agility and supersonic flight without afterburner. It is among the most modern machines of its kind.

Use

• Stick the inner masks on before closing the cabin up, and the outer ones only onto finished glazing.
• Use the insignia masks to spray crisp symbols directly in paint.
• Apply the paint in thin coats, so that it does not seep under the edges of the masks.
• Once the paint has dried, take the masks carefully off and crisp transitions and clear windows remain.

Who the set is for

The EXPERT level is intended for experienced modelers who want maximum precision and prefer sprayed national insignia to decals. The application is more demanding on both time and accuracy, but the result looks very realistic.

These are painting masks, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
