Double-sided cockpit masks for the F-35B in 1:48 scale cover the framing of the glazing from the outer and from the inner side.
Responsibility details are not available.
A double-sided set of stencils for the framing of the canopy of the F-35B Lightning II in 1:48 scale. It covers the glazing from both sides, which pays off doubly on a large bubble with no transverse frame, because every inaccuracy is visible from inside through clean glass. The designation of the target kit is Tamiya.
The pilot of the Lightning II has no glass plate of a head-up display in front of him. The data is projected for him by the helmet visor, into which the picture from cameras distributed around the airframe is also fed, so he can look through the structure of the aircraft. The instrument panel consists of a single large touch panel. For a model that means an emptier and cleaner cockpit, and the quality of the frame around the glass shows all the more in photographs. There is a single seat and above it a rocket system for emergency escape, so even with the cockpit closed the inside is clearly visible through the clear glazing. The emphasis placed on the cleanness of the inner edge of the frame on this type matches that.
