1:48 F-35B is a Big Sin bundle from Eduard - a set of resin and printed parts of the Brassin line for a model of the short-takeoff aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
Big Sin is Eduard's name for a package of parts of the Brassin line, that is of resin and fine printing, not for a bundle of photo-etching. The set replaces selected plastic parts of a model of the F-35B combat aircraft in 1:48 scale. The model itself is not in the package.
The B version differs from the other members of the family in the system for vertical landing. Behind the cockpit it carries a large fan driven from the engine, and with it a set of doors that open in flight. It is exactly this assembly that is most visible on a model when you build it with the covers open, and a printed part can render the blades more sharply than a mold. The cockpit and the wheels are then among the places a viewer looks at first.
For the same aircraft a Big Ed package is released as well, which brings together photo-etching and masks. Big Sin, against it, is built on bulky parts of resin and printing. The identical name on both packages therefore does not mean the same goods; they differ in material and in what they replace on the model.
It suits a modeler of modern jet aircraft who builds with the cockpit uncovered or with the fan doors open. The parts are separated from the casting blocks with a saw, washed free of the remains of the mold release agent and glued with cyanoacrylate glue.
