1:48 F-35C Lightning TFace is a double-sided Eduard masking set that deals with the glazing frames from the outside and from the inside.

The TFace form from Eduard for a model of the F-35C Lightning II in 1:48 scale. The set is prepared for masking the cockpit from both sides, so that the inner frames get the dark shade of the cockpit and the outer ones line up with the surface color of the aircraft.
The Lightning II builds its low observability on faceted shapes and on special surface layers that differ from the surrounding paint in both sheen and shade. The cockpit has a one-piece hinged canopy and inside a large touchscreen instead of classic dials. A model therefore looks best with the canopy open, when the interior is on show. On this version the wingtips fold upwards so that the machine fits on a shipboard elevator.
Lay the inner stencils down only after the clear part has been polished, because every scratch under them will be emphasized. Spray in short bursts and let the part rest between coats, so that the solvent evaporates. Then protect the finished glazing with tape until the model is built. Before spraying, try dry whether the part will seat in place once the paint has dried.
