F-4C Phantom II interior 1:48 (Quinta Studio)

A pre-colored 3D-printed set of interior details on decal backing paper from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale, together with 3D-printed resin parts. The set is intended to raise the realism of the cockpit of the early American F-4C Phantom II considerably. The three-dimensional 3D elements with their finished coloring take over the role of both photo-etched parts and decals for the instrument panels and the side panels of both cockpits. The set is intended for the Academy kit.

What the set contains and what it is for

These are 3D-printed details with realistic color printing, plus additional resin parts that replace or supplement the instrument panels, the side consoles and other elements of the cockpit. The elements have no adhesive layer of their own; they slide off the decal paper and hold on a gloss coat. Thanks to the three-dimensional structure, the instruments and the switches look raised.

Use

• it is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for detailing the cockpit
• coat the area with gloss varnish, cut the part out, soak it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the paper into place
• do not use a decal softener or a decal setter, as their chemistry attacks the printed resin
• glue the resin parts with cyanoacrylate

For modelers who want to raise the interior of the F-4C Phantom II and who will appreciate realistic color detail together with three-dimensional resin parts.

This is an add-on set, not a model in its own right. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
