The Quinta Studio colored 3D decal interior for the F-4E (early) / F-4EJ Phantom II in 1:48 scale adds three-dimensional, pre-colored detail to both cockpits. It is an accessory, not the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is an aftermarket accessory, not a kit of the aircraft. It holds three-dimensionally printed and color-rendered parts for the front and rear cockpits on a decal backing. The instrument panels, the side consoles and other detail have raised relief and look three-dimensional without photo-etch and demanding painting. The set is made for models of the early F-4E and the Japanese F-4EJ in 1:48 scale.
The F-4E version was one of the most widespread variants of the Phantom II and the first to be fitted with an internal cannon in production. The F-4EJ was the licensed Japanese rendering serving with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. The early machines were marked out by a specific layout of the instrument panels.
Cut the parts out, soak them briefly in lukewarm water and slide them onto a degreased surface. Do not soak them needlessly long. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as their chemistry would damage the printed resin. At the end the look can be evened out with a flat varnish.
The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
