This is a refinement accessory for the cockpit, not a kit. Quinta Studio makes raised color 3D decals: layered, three-dimensional and pre-colored decals of instrument panels and side panels. This is the so-called small version: a simplified set of narrower scope aimed at the key surfaces of the cockpit, without the 3D-printed resin parts that the complete version offers. The set is developed for the plastic model of the F-4G Phantom II in the late version in 1:48 scale from the maker Meng; without the matching base kit it cannot be used.
The 3D decals are applied much like wet decals, or they are cut out and stuck straight onto the interior parts. The same holds for the small version as for the complete one: no softener is used, as it would attack the printed resin. The layered build gives the surfaces depth and a three-dimensional look without laborious hand painting.
This is an accessory for the cockpit, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
