Interior areas for the naval F-4J Phantom II in 1:48 scale, printed in color on a decal sheet. According to the name, resin components are enclosed as well. The set is intended for the Academy kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The colored interior areas are printed on decal paper and completed with resin parts, as the name of the set states. The modeler applies them to the plastic moldings of the cockpit and thus gets the equipment of both stations without having to paint dials and controls one by one. It is based on the dimensions of the Academy kit.
The version for the US Navy and Marine Corps flew in 1966. It was given a more powerful radar with a pulse-Doppler mode and J79 engines of a newer series. For safer landing on a deck, drooping ailerons and a modified horizontal tail were added. F-4J Phantoms flew over Vietnam from the decks of carriers, later they also appeared in the colors of the Navy's demonstration team, and some of them were bought by Great Britain.
Rid the areas under the decal of grease and spray them with a smooth varnish. Soak the cut-out piece, slide it off the paper and seat it with tweezers. The water under it is pressed out from the center toward the edges, and the excess is drawn off with absorbent paper. Stay with clean water - softener would damage the printed resin. Finally knock it back to matte, so that the surface matches the surrounding color of the cockpit.
The accessory on offer is supplied without a kit of the aircraft; that has to be bought in addition.
