The smaller variant of the interior set for the naval Phantom F-4N in 1:48 scale from Quinta Studio. A narrower selection of printed areas, resin extras.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Quinta Studio brand supplies its cabin equipment in two extents, and this is the smaller of them. The designation of the smaller version in the name means a narrower selection of printed areas, so the modeler gets the essential part, the one that draws the eye most in the cabin. Here too it is three-dimensional printing on decal backing paper, supplied already colored and, according to the name, complemented with resin parts.
In the seventies the US Navy put its older Phantoms through an extensive refurbishment, and the designation F-4N came out of it. The airframes were strengthened and their service life was extended, newer electronics were added along with modifications for better handling in maneuvering combat. The machines then served both with the Navy and with the Marine Corps, and they were also seen in the colorful schemes of combat squadrons that modelers like to reach for.
Finish the cabin before you bring the fuselage halves together. Carefully separate the small resin parts from the sprue gate and, once they have been washed, let them dry thoroughly before gluing. We recommend keeping the inner surfaces of the tub in a subdued shade, so that the colored equipment stands out. The assembly procedure is described in the instructions included by the maker. Do not use a decal softener, as it would attack the printed resin.
This is an accessory for the interior, not the plastic parts of the aircraft.
