A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand from the maker Aires in 1:48 scale. The set sharpens up the auxiliary, that is the supplementary, air intakes on the sides of the fuselage, which open when the engines draw more air. It is not a model of the aircraft but a stand-alone accessory raising the fidelity of a finished build.
The Northrop F-5E Tiger II is an American light supersonic fighter aircraft, widely committed with a number of countries. Its two jet engines needed more air at high power, and so besides the main intakes the machine also had auxiliary ones.
Wash the small parts free of mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks carefully and glue with super glue. Make sure before gluing that they seat on the fuselage.
