This accessory resin set from the manufacturer Quickboost replaces the plastic parts of the sensors of the radar warning system (the so-called RWR antennas) with more faithful resin castings with finer detail. The set is intended for models of the light Northrop F-5 Tiger II fighter in the F-5E, F-5F and F-5N versions and the reconnaissance RF-5E in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but a small detail accessory for a build.
Radar warning receivers (RWR) are sensors that alert the crew to being illuminated by a hostile radar. On F-5 Tiger II aircraft they make up small external features whose faithful rendering raises the level of a model.
Separate the parts carefully from the casting blocks, wash any release agent off them and glue them with cyanoacrylate in the right places according to the subject. Because of their small dimensions we recommend tweezers; wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
