Quinta Studio 1:48 F-5F Tiger II, a 3D printed color interior on decal paper (AFV Club), covers the tandem cockpit of the two-seat version of the Tiger. Against the single-seat F-5E it is a different layout and a different set.

The set brings color relief printing on decal paper into the cockpit. Its extent is set by the subject: the F-5F has two cockpits one behind the other, so two instrument panels and two sets of side panels are answered. That is a substantial difference against the interior of the single-seat Tiger, where the work is roughly half as much. The set is cut for the AFV Club kit in 1:48 scale.
The F-5F is the two-seat version of the light F-5E Tiger II fighter. The second cockpit called for a lengthening of the forward fuselage, and both the front and the rear station are fully equipped, so the aircraft could serve for training as well as in an operational role. The cockpit is analog, with round dials and clearly divided side consoles. Thanks to the fairly large and clean canopy, more of it is visible on a model than one would expect on a small aircraft.
With these sets a softener is the most common source of damage: the chemistry attacks the printed resin and ruins the element, which is why the manufacturer forbids it, and a setting solution likewise. The procedure is different. Lay the cut-out element in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds, let it slide off the backing paper and seat it on an area coated with gloss varnish, for example Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22. Do not run a brush over the area, because the pressure of the brush is what deforms the relief. If the element does not seat at the first attempt, move it with a damp brush while the undercoat is still wet.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
