Eduard Big Ed F-86D Sabre 1:48

Big Ed is a package from the Czech maker Eduard that brings the separately sold photo-etched detail sets and painting masks for one type of model together in a single box. This set is intended for finishing the F-86D Sabre (Sabre Dog) fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a standalone aircraft model.

Use

  • the photo-etched parts refine the interior as well as the external details of the model
  • the painting masks make a sharp paint job on the canopy glazing easier
  • separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue
  • apply the pre-painted photo-etched elements after the base coat of paint

Who the set is for

The set is intended for modelers who want to get the maximum of detail out of a base F-86D kit in a single purchase. Working with photo-etch assumes some experience.

This is a collection of accessories, not a standalone model. To use it you need the base F-86D Sabre kit in 1:48 scale. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
