F-86D Sabre Dog JASDF TACAN antenna set 1:48 is a resin upgrade set from DEF Model that adds the antenna and details to a model of the jet fighter. It is an accessory for the build, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin upgrade set from DEF Model for F-86D Sabre Dog models in 1:48 scale. It adds the TACAN antenna in the form used by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) and further small details that the basic model lacks. It is NOT an aircraft kit but a detail accessory.
The set contains crisply cast resin parts of the antenna and the intake covers, completed by metal wire for a handle and by a mask for the canopy. It makes it possible to reproduce faithfully the specific equipment of the aircraft operated in Japan, which the standard model does not offer.
The North American F-86D Sabre Dog was an American interceptor of the 1950s with radar in the nose and an armament of unguided rockets. In service with the Japanese self-defense forces it received additional antenna equipment, which this set adds.
An accessory for modelers with experience of resin. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
